Abstract:
The development of information technology in the maritime industry encourages
shipping companies to shift toward digital transformation, especially in managing ship
crew operations. PT Cakrawala Nusa Bahari still faces several issues because its crew
management processes are handled manually. This results in delays in data updates,
disorganized documents, and a higher risk of human error. To overcome these
problems, the company has started implementing the AIMM Cloud system as an
integrated digital solution. However, its implementation has not been fully optimal due
to limited human resource understanding, lack of training, and suboptimal integration
between divisions.
This study aims to analyze the implementation strategy of the AIMM Cloud system as
part of the digital transformation of crew management at PT Cakrawala Nusa Bahari.
The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through
observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The data is analyzed
using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis, supported by the
Grand Strategy Matrix to determine the most appropriate strategy.
The results show that the implementation of AIMM Cloud can improve operational
efficiency, data accuracy, and make it easier to monitor crew certification and rotation
in real time. However, to optimize the system, appropriate strategies are needed, such
as improving human resource competencies through training, developing digital-based
standard operating procedures (SOPs), and strengthening coordination between
divisions. With a well-planned implementation strategy, AIMM Cloud is expected to
effectively support digital transformation and enhance the performance of crew
management within the company.
