Abstract

Arjuna Samudera Indonesia” This study aims to analyze the optimization of ship crew recruitment using social media at PT. Arjuna Samudera Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of social media in the recruitment process has not been integrated and structured properly, and there is inefficiency in sending CVs by applicants. The main obstacles include the lack of a targeted communication strategy, minimal monitoring, and the absence of a special team to handle social media. Based on these findings, the researcher suggests several solutions, such as preparing a scheduled and consistent content strategy, diversifying content types, increasing the capacity of professional social media management, strengthening digital responses and interactions, and implementing a data-based evaluation system. By implementing this strategy, PT. Arjuna Samudera Indonesia can increase the effectiveness of recruitment through social media, reach more qualified sailors, and build a modern and competitive company image in the maritime industry.
