dc.description.abstract The high level of nearmiss on PT Hutama Trans Kencana's fleet of ships reflects serious challenges in managing work safety on board. Several contributing factors include the non-optimal implementation of the HIRADC method, weak control of operational risks, low crew concern for safety, and the implementation of internal audits that have not been maximized. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the HIRADC method and risk management on crew safety at PT Hutama Trans Kencana, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a questionnaire distributed to 60 respondents, consisting of ship crews and QHSSE Department personnel. The results of the analysis show that both the implementation of the HIRADC method and risk management have a positive and significant effect on crew safety. Simultaneously, both variables are also proven to have a significant influence on improving crew safety. Thus, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted, both partially and simultaneously. This study recommends optimizing the implementation of HIRADC and risk management as important strategies in improving work safety on board, especially in the operational context of PT Hutama Trans Kencana. en_US
