This study aims to determine the effect of the Shipmate application on the operational
continuity of PT MOL LNG vessels at PT McMOL Crewing International. A quantitative
research method was employed by distributing questionnaires to 55 respondents
consisting of PT McMOL Crewing International employees and PT MOL LNG vessel
officers who use the Shipmate application. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability,
correlation, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and t-test analyses. The
results showed that the use of the Shipmate application has a strong relationship with
vessel operation, with a correlation coefficient of 0,728. The coefficient of determination
of 5% indicates that the Shipmate application contributes 53% to the continuity of vessel
operations. The t-test result showed that the calculated t-value of 7,737 was greater than
the t-table value of 2.005, indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.
Therefore, the use of the Shipmate application has a significant effect on the operational
continuity of PT MOL LNG vessels at PT McMOL Crewing International. |
