"The Influence of the Use of the Indonesian Integrated Monitoring System on Navigation (I-MOTION) Application on the Smoothness of Shipping Safety Supervision at the Directorate of Navigation" This study aims to analyze the effect of using the I-MOTION application on the smoothness of shipping safety supervision at the Directorate of Navigation, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. I-MOTION is a web-based system that integrates AIS, radar, voice, and CCTV data to support real-time shipping monitoring. Although this system is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supervision, various technical and operational constraints such as internet dependence, server disruptions, and lack of training for users are the main challenges. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies, involving 45 respondents from the Directorate of Navigation. The results of the analysis show a significant influence between the effectiveness of using the I-MOTION application and the smoothness of shipping safety supervision, which includes increasing efficiency, response speed, and accuracy of decision making. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a more optimal and adaptive maritime surveillance system to operational challenges in the field.
