PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN EFISIENSI ENERGI (SEEMP) TERHADAP EMISI GAS RUMAH KACA PADA KAPAL PT HUMOLCO LNG INDONESIA

Dewi Musthafa, Mutiarin. 2025. “Pengaruh Implementasi Manajemen Efisiensi Energi (SEEMP) Terhadap Emisi Gas Rumah Kaca Pada Kapal PT Humolco LNG Indonesia” This research critically examines the extent to which the implementation of the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on board the LNG/C Triputra, a vessel operated by PT Humolco LNG Indonesia. Anchored in the broader context of global efforts to mitigate climate change, the study addresses the imperative for increased energy efficiency within the maritime industry. Employing a quantitative research methodology, primary data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 50 participants, comprising both seafaring personnel and shore-based staff from relevant operational and safety departments. A probability sampling technique ensured representative data acquisition. Additionally, the study incorporated secondary data in the form of annual GHG emissions reports spanning the period from 2021 to 2024 to substantiate the empirical findings. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, instrument testing, and hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed a positive and significant influence of SEEMP implementation on the reduction of GHG emissions. This is evidenced by a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.699 or 69.9% and a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. These findings indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that SEEMP implementation be continuously enhanced through crew training, regular monitoring, and the integration of digital technologies to improve both operational efficiency and environmental impact.
