Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Single Truck Identification Data (STID)
on container trucks at PT Terminal Teluk Lamong. The background of the research
focuses on the challenges faced during the application of STID, such as low compliance
among truck owners in meeting the requirements, and the suboptimal performance of the
application system. A qualitative research approach was used through observations,
interviews, and questionnaires involving truck drivers, trucking associations, gate
operators, and officers from the Main Office of Port Authority (KSOP) Tanjung Perak.
SWOT analysis was applied to identify internal and external factors affecting the
implementation of STID. The results indicate that a lack of understanding regarding STID
requirements and incomplete vehicle documentation are the main obstacles. Furthermore,
technical issues in the application system also slow down the registration process. The
study recommends enhancing socialization efforts, improving the application system, and
integrating data to facilitate the optimal implementation of STID at the port.
