This research aims to analyze the influence of the Shipping and Maritime
Information System (SIMKAPEL) Application (X1) and the Efficiency of Ship
Operational Data Management (X2) on International Standards in the shipping
sector. This research was carried out at PT. Radian Jaya Samudera with a population
of 80 people, all of which were sampled through saturated sampling techniques.
The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between
the application of SIMKAPEL to International Standards with a line coefficient
value of 0.703 and a t-statistical value of 5.979 (p-value < 0.05), as well as a positive
and significant relationship between the Efficiency of Ship Operational Data
Management to International Standards with a coefficient of 0.387 and a t-statistic
of 2.684 (p-value < 0.05). Simultaneously, the two independent variables had a
significant effect on the International Standard with a t-statistical value of 17.9586.
A determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.564 indicates that 56.4% of the
variability in meeting international standards can be explained by the variables of
SIMKAPEL Application and Ship Operational Data Management Efficiency, while
the rest is explained by other factors outside of this study model.
These findings show that the SIMKAPEL Application and Ship Operational Data
Management Efficiency have an important role in supporting the achievement of
International Standards in the national shipping industry. |
