Conveyor belts are the primary means of coal distribution from stockpiles to shiploaders
at PT. Indominco Mandiri Bontang. Repeated conveyor failures hamper the coal loading
process and reduce loading performance. This study aims to analyze the causes of
conveyor failures, factors contributing to long repair times, and the impact of conveyor
downtime on coal loading performance. The research method used was descriptive
qualitative through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The
results indicate that conveyor failures are caused by component wear, high operational
intensity, and suboptimal preventive maintenance implementation. Long repair times are
influenced by limited technicians, spare part availability, and the complexity of the
conveyor system. The resulting impacts include increased downtime of up to 8 hours, a
decrease in the loading rate from the target of 4,000 tons/hour to 3,000 tons/hour, and
decreased loading operational efficiency. Possible improvements include increasing
preventive maintenance, ensuring spare part availability, improving human resource
competency, and regularly monitoring conveyor conditions.

Marine pollution due to oil waste from ships and port operations is an environmental
problem, making the availability and utilization of Reception Facilitiy (RF) a crucial
aspect in optimal oil waste management. This study aims to determine and analyze the
relationship and influence of Reception Facility (RF) use on Oil Waste Management at
Tanjung Priok Port.
The research employed a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire distributed to 45
respondents, selected using the Slovin Formula. Data were analyzed using descriptive
statistics, instrument testing, simple linear regression, correlation, determination, and
hypothesis testing.
The results showed that Reception Facility (RF) use had a very strong, positive, and
significant influence on oil waste management at Tanjung Priok Port, with a very strong
correlation of 0.870. The analysis revealed that Reception Facility (RF) use had a 75.6%
influence on oil waste management. Validity testing demonstrated that all statement items
were valid, and reliability achieved a Cronbach's Alpha value above 0.60. The regression
coefficient of 0.876 means that every one unit increase in the use of the Reception Facility
(RF) will increase oil waste management by 0.876 units. This study concludes that
optimizing the use of the Reception Facility (RF), especially in the dimensions of service
procedures and waste storage, needs to be a priority to increase the effectiveness of Oil
Waste Management at Tanjung Priok Port.

This research is motivated by the high demand for electricity in the port sector to support
24-hour operations, as well as the dominant reliance on fossil energy which impacts
carbon emissions and operational costs. This study aims to analyze the technical
feasibility of implementing a Wind Power Plant (PLTB) as an environmentally friendly
alternative sustainable energy source in the pier area of Soekarno-Hatta Port, Makassar.
The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with secondary data analysis
regarding wind speed potential, turbine characteristics, and SWOT analysis. The results
indicate that the wind speed in the port's coastal area ranges from 2–3 m/s, which is
technically feasible for micro-scale PLTB to support the pier lighting system. The most
suitable type of turbine is the Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) due to its ability to
operate optimally at low wind speeds. The main recommendation is to develop a pilot
project integrated with the "green port" concept and a hybrid system to ensure a stable
supply of sustainable energy.

This research is motivated by the high rate of ship accidents caused by human error,
making the implementation of safety standardization crucial in the operations of shipping
companies. This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of
implementing the International Safety Management (ISM) Code (X1) and Safety Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP) (X2) on Ship Operational Activities (Y) at PT Lintas Kumala
Abadi Jakarta. Utilizing a quantitative associative approach with a total sampling
technique involving 45 respondents (captains, officers, crew members, and shore-based
operational staff), data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using
multiple linear regression via statistical software. The results indicate that, partially, the
implementation of the ISM Code has a positive and significant, and Safety SOP also has
a positive and significant effect on ship operational activities. Simultaneously, both
variables exert a significant with a coefficient of determination (R Square) value of
61.5%, where the ISM Code was identified as the most dominant variable influencing ship
operations, indicated by the highest Standardized Beta value of 0.487. In conclusion, a
strong synergy between the ISM Code policy and compliance with Safety SOPs is tangibly
capable of enhancing the efficiency, safety, and seaworthiness of the ship fleet. Therefore,
the management is highly recommended to continuously strengthen safety training
equally across all fleets to minimize operational risks.
